Terms of Service

Campustry is a student-first platform. To use our core features — including browsing curated opportunities, receiving VTU notifications, saving items, and submitting applications — you must register for an account.

• •You must be at least 18 years of age, or a currently enrolled student at a recognized educational institution in India.
• •You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. Providing false identity information is a violation of these Terms.
• •You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• •You must notify us immediately at support@campustry.in if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• •One person may not maintain multiple active accounts. Duplicate accounts are subject to removal without notice.

Campustry is built for verified students and university administrators. By using this platform, you agree NOT to engage in any of the following:

• ✕Upload fake credentials, incorrect CGPA/academic scores, falsified resumes, or forge any academic documents.
• ✕Scrape job postings, student bios, circular announcements, or any other platform content using automated scripts, bots, or crawlers.
• ✕Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our database servers, administrative panels, or another user's account.
• ✕Transmit any harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content via the platform.
• ✕Use the platform for commercial solicitation, unsolicited messaging, or to promote third-party services without written authorization.
• ✕Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features including CAPTCHA systems and rate limiting measures.
• ✕Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Campustry platform or its source code.

All content, branding, design, software, and technology on Campustry — including logos, UI designs, written text, and compiled code — is the exclusive intellectual property of Campustry and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to content you create and upload (resumes, portfolio links, project descriptions). By uploading content, you grant Campustry a limited, non-exclusive license to display and process that content solely for the purpose of providing you with platform services. We do not claim ownership over your personal content.

We compile job descriptions, stipend details, scholarship information, and VTU circular updates in good faith from publicly available and verified sources. However:

• !Campustry is not responsible for recruiter hiring decisions, offer rejections, or the accuracy of individual job requirements posted by third-party companies.
• !We are not responsible for changes in exam schedules, timetables, or university policies published by VTU or any affiliated institution. Always verify directly with your university.
• !External links to company websites, application portals, or government resources are provided for convenience. Campustry does not endorse or control third-party sites.
• !The platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation at all times.

Campustry reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate account access with or without prior notice under the following circumstances:

• •Violation of any provision of these Terms of Service.
• •Academic misconduct, including uploading falsified educational documents or credentials.
• •Actions that harm other users, recruiters, or the integrity of the Campustry platform.
• •Providing false information during account registration or the job application process.
• •Any illegal activity conducted through the platform.

You may appeal a suspension by contacting support@campustry.in. We will review appeals within 10 business days.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Campustry shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When material changes are made, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Campustry after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue use and may request account deletion.
